As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™, self-care advocate and a small business owner based in Whistler, I’m dedicated to helping fellow residents to eat healthy and to take better care of themselves.  As someone who has lived and worked in the Sea to Sky corridor since 2009, I know how easy it is to fall off the self-care wagon when the peak season hits the village, and all of us get swamped with hospitality work. That’s why it’s so important that we stay strong and healthy so that we can handle our jobs with ease, and have loads of energy left to play in the water, snow and rock walls. That’s why most of us moved here in the first place, right? 

I used to think that eating healthy was too hard until I decided to make a change and improve my diet and lifestyle. My initial goal was to lose weight, which I easily achieved with Eva’s guidance and food recommendations. She helped me to organize my fridge & pantry and taught me how to confidently make healthy meal plans for myself. Since working with Eva, my overall health condition improved: I can move faster, sleep better, I don’t get tired and the best part is: I like what I see in the mirror now. Spend A Day With Whistler Nutritionist

While I mostly work with clients online, I like to coach Whistler residents face to face. So instead of guiding you virtually, I bike to your Whistler home, which allows me to physically dive into your fridge, pantry and meal prep with the equipment that you have at home. I really love this hands-on approach and I’m sure that you’ll too! Keep reading the following 6 steps to learn how 1-day nutrition coaching works:

1- Day Nutrition Coaching

Before you hire me for a day, I’ll ask you to redeem your complimentary 45-min nutrition coaching session so that I can learn about your healthy eating and self-care struggles and goals. This meeting alone will give you a clear sense of what working with me looks like and both of us will know exactly how well we resonate with each other. At the end of the session, I’ll invite you to sign up for my 1-day nutrition coaching program and answer any of your questions that you might have. If you choose to work with me, I’ll explain how you can purchase this service and once I receive the full payment of $299 CAD, I’ll email you a couple of intake forms. 

After I receive and assess your intake forms, I’ll contact you to schedule a day that works best for you. Typically, I meet you at your place at 9 am and work with you until we’re done, which could take anywhere between 4 to 6 hours for that flat rate listed above.  REMEMBER: I’m here for you so if 9 am doesn’t work, we’ll agree on time that suits you best. 

I just arrived into your home and the first thing I’m going to do is the pantry & fridge sweep, yes! This is exciting because you’ll know exactly what food items are good to keep and what to stay away from and why. This will help you make better food choices moving forward.  

After the pantry & fridge sweep, we’ll sit down and create a custom meal plan for you for the upcoming week. Of course, I’ll take your budget, food preferences and sensitivities into consideration.

It’s time to hit your favorite grocery store to get all of the ingredients listed in your custom meal plan! BE AWARE: I don’t have a vehicle but we can bike (I have awesome cycling bags that can fit a lot of food), or we can take the bus, or we can use your vehicle if you have that option. Shopping together will give you the opportunity to pick my brain about unhealthy ingredients, red flag foods, healthy food alternatives etc. 

Finally, we’re back in your home with groceries and do the meal prep and cooking together. The best part? Your fridge is stacked with food boxes full of healthy meals and snacks for the following week. Before I bike off, I’ll conclude our healthy eating endeavour by answering any questions that you might have.

NOTE: I’ll contact you a few days after our meeting to check on you and to schedule a short follow up meeting, which is included in the flat rate listed in step 1. Once again, I’ll bike to your home, we’ll discuss how everything went in the past week, I’ll help you set up a new meal plan for yourself and conclude our work together. That being said, if you find that you would like to work with me over a longer period of time, I’ll break down a few options to you. What are you waiting for?
